Victim Services is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to provide victims of general crime assistance and services necessary to speed their recovery from a criminal act, and to support and aid them as they move through the criminal justice system. A general crime victim refers to a victim of any crime including assault, robbery, burglary, theft, homicide, stalking, damage to property, threats of violence, criminal vehicular homicide, arson, financial fraud, identity theft, etc. 

Victim Services advocates provide direct services to victims of crime. These services may include personal advocacy, emotional support, criminal justice support, crisis intervention, referrals to other professionals, and safety planning.
