Are you a PT or OT student or a retired PT or OT or a current PT or OT who is looking for some volunteer opportunities? Why not join Mounted Eagles as an Equicizer Instructor! We have a need for a volunteer in our Equicizer area to instruct our clients with core strength stretches and proper hand and leg positioning while riding their horse.
An Equicizer is a non-motorized 'horse' that moves only when the rider moves his/her body. It was developed by an injured jockey who needed a method of rehabilitating his body so he could ride again. We use it as part of our lesson plan to loosen joints, build core strength and teach proper positioning of the body on the real horse.
We would welcome your expertise to complete the lesson content for each of our riders. Contact us for more information about this position. call: 218.454.3228 email: [email protected] or Message us on FB. Scan the barcode below to fill out your application online.
